About the Program
The MSME Showcase, held from October 22 to 24, 2024, was a dynamic initiative by the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM), Koperasi NAWEM Berhad (KopNAWEM), and Public Bank Berhad. This three-day event aimed to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing a platform to showcase their products, connect with potential customers, and explore long-term business opportunities.
Themed “IGNITING MSME GROWTH,” the event included:
A two-day product showcase at Menara Public Bank, Kuala Lumpur.
A half-day forum featuring insights and experiences from MSME entrepreneurs.
Business networking and knowledge-sharing activities.

28 booths displaying a diverse range of MSME products, including food items, natural skincare, handmade crafts, and wellness solutions.

Public Bank employees and visitors attended, creating significant exposure for exhibitors.

Engaging activities such as live product demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and wellness consultations .
Half-Day Forum

- 11 MSME entrepreneurs shared their journeys, challenges, and success stories.
- Keynote by Ms. Dionna Teh, daughter of Public Bank’s late founder, recognizing the value of MSME contributions.
- Presentation on potential projects on business resilience, growth strategies, and collaboration with financial institutions.

NAWEM took a bold step in directly supporting micro-businesses by purchasing their products for resale. This initiative ensured MSMEs earned revenue while gaining exposure.
